These Terms of Service govern your use of the Ta'awun Community Fund services. By becoming a member or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Nature of the Service
Ta'awun Community Fund operates as a community-based mutual assistance fund, where members contribute to a shared pool used to support members in times of need.
This is not a conventional insurance product, but a cooperative support model based on mutual assistance.
3. Membership
3.1 Eligibility
Membership is subject to approval and completion of registration requirements.
3.2 Member Responsibilities
Members agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful information
- Pay contributions as agreed
- Comply with all fund rules and processes
4. Contributions
Contributions must be made regularly as agreed.
Failure to contribute may result in:
- Suspension of benefits
- Termination of membership
5. Benefits & Claims
5.1 Eligibility for Benefits
Benefits are available to active members in good standing.
5.2 Claims Process
- Claims must be submitted with required documentation
- The fund reserves the right to verify all information
5.3 Nature of Benefits
Benefits may include:
- Janazah cost coverage
- Indemnity support
- Expense vouchers
6. Limitations
- Benefits are subject to fund availability and rules
- The fund does not guarantee unlimited payouts
- Fraudulent claims will result in immediate termination
7. Termination of Membership
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate membership if:
- Contributions are not maintained
- False information is provided
- Terms are violated
Members may also voluntarily cancel their membership.
8. Liability
Ta'awun Community Fund will not be liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Delays caused by third-party service providers
All services are provided in good faith to support members.
9. Amendments
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
